What do Red Bull, Coca Cola, Nike, Apple and Chevrolet have in common?

They don’t stop advertising because they’re busy!

I see many business owners advertise only when they’re not busy to attract more clients. Then, when they do, they turn off the advertising because they’re “too busy.”

That’s just a lack of planning in my book. I can see slowing down advertising in your off-season, but do you want people to forget about you and have to get re-acquainted when your season hits? Why not stay top of mind? Why not take roofing leads in wintertime? You can book them in advance so that as soon as it’s somewhat nice out, you can hit the roof running.

“But Mark, we’ll be too busy!”. If you want to grow a business, there’s no such thing. It just means that if you’re getting busy, you need systems and teams to cover the workload.

I get it, some business owners are in business for themselves, to cover the bills while they set their own hours, but for those who have “growing the business” in the first paragraph of their self-written job description, advertising should be the only thing you DON’T put on the chopping block when times get rough.

Be like Red Bull, Coca Cola, Nike, Apple and Chevrolet. Get in touch with me to get you one step closer.
