Our story starts with Mark, our founder. Back in ’99, he was already building websites (yes, way back then!). After moving to Canada in 2007, he went freelance, diving deep into the world of web design. Then, things got interesting.

Around 2011, everyone wanted e-commerce sites. Mark knew how to build ’em, but he wanted to know what really happened after a sale. So, he did what any curious entrepreneur would do – he started his own online store.

In 2015, Funky Moose Records was born. And guess what? It exploded! Mark accidentally turned it into a six-figure business. He learned firsthand what it takes to drive traffic, convert sales, and build a loyal customer base.

Fast forward to 2017, Mark was leading the web department at a local IT company, making it profitable. But his record store was booming, too. After juggling both for four years, he decided to go all-in on Funky Moose Records.

Then, something cool happened. People started asking Mark for help with their online stores. They wanted his magic touch for marketing, optimization, and website building. That’s when Funky Moose Digital was born in 2021!

We’ve had our share of learning curves (who hasn’t?), and by 2024, the record store faced some tough post-pandemic challenges. Time for a pivot! Mark decided to focus 100% on Funky Moose Digital, building a team of top-notch digital marketing experts. And in 2025, Funky Moose Records will evolve into a new, exciting music venture (stay tuned!).
